Baby W-2 is here!

We are happy to welcome our as-yet-nameless baby boy to the Willcox family. After a very swift labor this afternoon-- two hours, start to finish-- he arrived in good health and spirits, weighing 8 lbs 1 oz. Mother's doing fine, and Father has a punchy glow of pride and relief. Tomorrow, big sister Audrey will come down to the hospital to meet her new colleague; tonight she's having a sleep-over with Auntie Rebecca and Uncle Hank, and their girls.

No promises on when we'll come up with a name, but rest assured we're working on it. The more you bug us about it, the longer we'll make you wait.

We are looking forward to seeing everybody soon. Calls and e-mails are welcome!

Yippee! We're so excited. All three girlies are snoring away as I type this. By bedtime, Audrey was so tired she was swaying and wobbly during story time. Bethiah was jumping in her crib she was so excited for the company but they both crashed pretty quickly. And Ruth joined them a bit later. We all had a great night.

Congrats!

The birth certificate people called us three times while we were at the hospital. Each time we responded..."nope, no name yet!". So you're not the only procrastinators.

Such wonderful news! Congratulations to the whole family. Please keep the photos coming. (Have you thought of raffling off naming rights?)

I am falling in love with him already- what a little dear! And I got to hear him squeaking over the phone this afternoon! I hope you have a good night together, and I hope you can take pictures of Audrey meeting her little brother tomorrow. What a day that will be! Congratulations!!

Kris and Scott - Congratulations! I look forward to seeing all of you and meeting your son. I imagine Barack Willcox will be the chosen name - or perhaps "Sculley" in honor of the US Air pilot. Either of those would be great choices. (How am I doing?) I do hope we get to see you soon. All the best, Laurisa

CONGRATULATIONS! And holy toledo on such a speedy delivery. Clearly, this little boy knows how lucky he is to have the two of you as parents. :-)

Congratulations! I'm a little late to the party, but it's wonderful to see that your second little one has entered the big wide world and that everyone is happy and healthy!
