Scott was the best man for his friend Sanjay, and wore traditional Indian garb with the rest of the wedding party.

And a walk on the beach near our rented cottage at Owl's Head. Audrey was up with the sun, and the sun is up early in Maine! From our bedroom we saw some gorgeous sunrises... at about 4:30. May as well enjoy them if you're going to be up anyway.
When we got home this afternoon we spotted what looks like her first tooth starting to errupt on the bottom gum. Which could explain why right now Scott is upstairs unable to get her to calm down and go to sleep.Parents: share all your teething remedies, quick! We are offering her cold washclothes, which seems to help a bit. And I think we'll be offering some baby Tylenol before the week is out.

Ah, the arrival of teeth! Amazingly, Brady already has almost a mouthful. He wasn't too bad during the process other than drooling all the time. We did, however, give him a frozen washcloth at times, as well as some of the teething toys (there's one that looks like a popsicle that he liked a lot) which you can store in the fridge... and once, we did give him some Orajel. Good luck!

We've got several weddings to go to this summer...looks like Audrey coped pretty well...hoping Kai does the same :)
Our kids loved the Fresh Food Feeder by Munchkin. It's a little safety mesh bag for frozen/chilled fruits or veggies on a baby grip ring. Babies get to chew on solid foods they don't yet get at the table and sooth their gums at the same time.
